Sarah Ogunbekun, Intern

Thank you for visiting my profile.
Reaching out to a therapist can feel daunting, but it’s a powerful step toward prioritizing your well-being and supporting those around you. If you’ve ever said “I’m fine” while quietly struggling, you’re not alone—and acknowledging that is often the first step toward healing.

With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I’m a dedicated and compassionate Cognitive Behavioural Therapist specializing in postnatal depression, anxiety disorders (including health anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, panic disorder), and PTSD. I work collaboratively with clients to develop practical, evidence-based strategies that empower them to break free from unhelpful patterns and create lasting, meaningful change.

My areas of focus have grown to include trauma, relationship difficulties, and questions related to spirituality. Drawing from both personal experience and professional expertise, I offer a tailored, compassionate approach to therapy. I support clients through major life transitions, whether it’s adjusting to parenthood, managing anxiety, or navigating personal and emotional challenges.

Originally from England, I hold a Master’s Degree in Health Psychology and a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Richmont Graduate University to expand my approach beyond CBT and provide more holistic, individualized care.

I practice under the clinical supervision of Laura Knorr, LMFT, and am committed to providing a safe, empathetic space where your voice is heard and valued.

Your well-being is my priority. Let’s take the next step together.
