Kaitlyn Kopp, LAPC

Thank you for taking time to learn more about me. People often seek counseling to navigate difficult life circumstances and it is important that your relationship with your therapist be a safe and stable place for you. I believe your relationship with your therapist is one of the most important parts of therapy and I would welcome the opportunity to come alongside you.

I aim to cultivate a collaborative and supportive space where you can understand your current way of being in light of your personality and past experiences, and create a vision for your future. While therapy can prompt you to explore painful parts of your story, I believe therapy should instill hope and lead to healing and positive change in your life. My areas of focus include trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, identity formation, and questions related to spirituality. I also have a special passion for working with individuals navigating chronic pain or illness.

I am originally from Greenville, South Carolina and graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in Health Administration and from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a master’s degree in Public Health. I worked in my career for ten years before pursuing a career in counseling out of a desire to help people experience transformation in their lives. I also have a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University. I am under the supervision of Celia Webb, MS, LPC, CPCS, SEP.
