I’m so thankful you’re taking the time to read this bio! First, I want to encourage you because I know that seeking therapy can be scary or overwhelming. I believe that therapy is a great choice for everyone, and finding the right therapist is just a part of the journey. I hope to provide each of my clients a safe space to heal, grow, and own their stories.
After graduating from the University of Michigan with a degree in Spanish, I spent the next seven years mentoring college athletes with a non-profit organization. Through this experience, I developed a desire to pursue an education in professional counseling. Three years later, I completed my graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I believe that each of us exists in the context of relationships, and these relationships have a profound impact on our lives. Whether you are hoping to navigate your relationships in individual therapy, as a couple, or as a family, I would love to come alongside you in that endeavor. I truly believe that hope, healing, growth, and connection is possible for each person in their counseling journey.
I have a passion for working with clients experiencing life transitions, betrayal trauma, grief, anxiety, spiritual struggles, self-esteem troubles, sport-related concerns, and relational conflict. I currently offer individual (ages 12+), pre-marital (I am Prepare/Enrich certified), marital, and family therapy.
If you have questions about beginning your counseling journey or to see if we would work well together, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
